Dear Friends,

The Huffingtonpost just published my latest article:

Luc Montagnier, Nobel Prize Winner, Takes Homeopathy Seriously

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dana-ullman/luc-montagnier-homeopathy-taken-seriously_b_814619.html

It is so interesting how the skeptics say "where is the research?" as though they didn't read a single word of the article that references such research as well as other articles that I've written that have referenced more. I guess "ignorance is bliss" to them.

Finally, if you appreciate my work out there to educate people about homeopathy, please consider getting your homeopathic medicines and books and whatever from www.homeopathic.com (we represent and sell every medicine sold by Hahnemann Labs, Boiron, Standard Homeopathics, and Helios)...and we can often get you medicines that are generally difficult-to-get.

Wren & Rowe Has Designed Label for the Archanus Wine

Brand consultants Wren Rowe have developed Archanus label, the
first brand of European wine produced from grapes grown using
100 percent homeopathic agriculture. Tiny amounts of homeopathic
product are used to treat fungi and insects. The first
experiments were done in the Vinho Verde region, with the first
harvest done in 2009, with a very limited number of bottles.

Dear Friends,

TV's "GLEE" loves homeopathic ARNICA!

I was just channel-surfing and was amazed to see and hear one of the girl students hold up a tube of topical ARNICA, and then give it to a guy student who happened to have a black eye, saying, "Arnica, twice a day, it'll help your bruise." This episode is called "Furt," and it was first shown in 2010. (It was shown tonight, January 25, 2011)

I am surprised that no one previously saw and announced this one!

This is a truly wonderful history review of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann's "bible" on homeopathy:

Abstract
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Library holds the unique manuscript of the sixth edition of Samuel Hahnemann's Organon der Heilkunst, the primary text of homeopathy. The manuscript volume is Hahnemann's own copy of the fifth edition of the Organon with his notes for the sixth edition, handwritten throughout the volume. There is a high level of interest in the Organon manuscript, particularly among homeopaths. This led to the decision to present a digital surrogate on the web to make it accessible to a wider audience. Digitizing Hahnemann's manuscript and determining the best method of presentation on the web posed several challenges. Lessons learned in the course of this project will inform future digital projects. This article discusses the historical significance of the sixth edition of Hahnemann's Organon, its context in UCSF's homeopathy collections, and the specifics of developing the online homeopathy collection.

I was under the impression that this feature was a round-up of what is being
said about homeopathy in the media. It would be nice if only good things
were being said, but it's also helpful to know WHAT is being said, good or
bad.

Hi Steve

Bernie's trying to give us all the news, not just the positives. We learn far more from our critics than from our supporters.

I always read this list, but I do wonder why the author wants to publicise the articles on homeopathy written by those whose sole aim is to trash homeopathy.

So we know who we are up against?
It helps not to have heads in the sand about these realities.

All the articles found on homeopathy are listed by the way - pro and
con.

What *I* want to know is why this list has to be set up back to
front, making it hard to send a reply to the list :-)
All the realistic lists have "reply to list" as default:-) Isn't that
why it's a "list" and not a private email to begin with?

Hi Irene!

If I remember right, "reply to list" *used* to be the default, but
there were a couple of really, well, embarrassing or traumatic
instances where a reply was intended for one person, but got defaulted
to "list" instead. So it was felt safer to make *sure* the sender
knows when they are sending to the whole list. And then it just
stayed that way...

Has anyone heard about, and in particular worked with someone, post drug
use. One person I have talked with has had a bad reaction after using
ecstacy one time. Just curious about any experiences you have had and if you
had success using remedies.

Thanks,
Sherill

Well if someone embarrasses themself it is not reason to change the
list to be inconvenient for every email from every member :-)

We all goof up on where we write sometime.
Maybe we need the occasional reminder "lesson" on how to be civil to
other humans :-)
(or take the consequences)

Namaste,
Irene

Maine homeopath off to Tanzania to help AIDS patients

A Portland woman is traveling to Tanzania this month to
volunteer with an organization that uses homeopathy to treat
people affected by AIDS Dr. Wendy Pollock, a chiropractic
physician and certified clinical homeopath in Portland, is
leaving Jan. 20 for two months to volunteer with Homeopathy for
Health in Africa, a nonprofit organization that treats AIDS
patients in the Kilimanjaro region of northern Tanzania.

Homeopathic remedies help morning sickness

Homeopathy is a complete, natural system of medicine that is
over 200 years old. It is immensely popular in many parts of the
world, including Europe, India and South America. Homeopathy has
no side effects, is non-toxic and can be used safely during
pregnancy. These are some of the most common homeopathic
remedies for morning sickness:

Is homeopathy on the ropes after vets' ruling?

In December the Veterinary Medicines Directorate VMD in the
Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs Defra
which governs the use of medicines in animals made clear that
homeopathic treatments could only be classed as medicines, and
thus prescribed by vets, if they were able to demonstrate
efficacy. Homeopathic products cannot demonstrate efficacy to
any satisfactory degree and so this means that they can't be
used by vets to treat animals.

Homeopathy: A Time-Tested Treatment for the Flu

If you are looking for a safe and reliable treatment for the flu
then perhaps homeopathy is for you. My own clinical experience
of 20 years has repeatedly confirmed the safety and
effectiveness of homeopathic treatment for the flu. Not to be
confused with the term "holistic," which means any approach to
health that takes into account the whole person, "homeopathic"
refers to a specific holistic medical therapy that involves
matching the symptom profile of the sick person with the symptom
profile of a corresponding homeopathic medicine.

Not a Homeopath at Heart

It seems to me lately that more and more people I know are
opting for a homeopathic, more natural route. Whether deciding
against vaccines for their children, smoking medical marijuana
to cure various chronic conditions or even wearing jewelry
thought to deliver targeted healing effects being a homeopath is
up there with the new black which I think I read is actually
pink this year.

Homeopathy, snake oil and other healthy imaginings

Homeopathy, along with other so-called "natural" and
"complementary" therapies, is now so mainstream that big private
health insurers offer rebates for the treatments. MBF offers
cover on homeopathy, naturopathy and acupuncture among many
others, as do AHM, NIB and HCF, while Medibank Private also has
a long list including homeopathy as well as various Western and
Chinese herbal treatments.

Homeopathy is timeless and without limit

Homeopathy is an ancient idea, recognised by keen observers of
nature. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, was born around 460
BC. He recognised that diseases come from natural sources,
rather than the superstitious sources popular at the time. He
became a careful observer. He recognised that each case is
individual. He also recognised that when treating a hitherto
unknown case, he could use similar remedies, from similar cases.

I have found someone even crazier: John Benneth. Benneth has
written one long-ass post in which he lists every deplorable

have helped". Oh, really?
