Homeopathic treatment for ear infections is superior to antibiotic treatment and placebo
Scientific studies have proven that homeopathic treatment is
superior to both antibiotic treatment and no treatment at all.
Ear infections can be easily treated at home using homeopathic
remedies, found in most health stores and natural pharmacies.
Unreported Complaints of Zicam Problems At Issue Before Supreme Court
A Zicam class action lawsuit has made its way to the U.S.
Supreme Court, where the justices will try to determine how much
information companies are obligated to share with investors
about consumer complaints associated with their products.
Science in One Room, Homeopathy in the Next?
I was asked to speak at an Infectious Diseases Symposium in New
York City, and present at that symposium were about 750
pediatricians and family practitioners there to learn about
common aspects of pediatric infections; I was asked to speak
about the science of vaccines. In the other room were the
exhibitors. One of the exhibitors was selling a homeopathic
medicine called oscillococcinum.
Homeopaths Accuse Skeptics of Working for 'Big Pharma'
The CBC program Marketplace recently investigated homeopathy.
Seeking the scientific consensus, they consulted Centre for
Inquiry Canada CFI, a voice for credible science.
Representatives of CFI demonstrated the flaws of homeopathy with
a live experiment. The Official Homeopathy Resource website
accused CFI of working for "big pharma."
Kenyan patients yet to embrace homeotherapy
Embracing a holistic patient-care approach, those advocating for
homeopathy have caught the attention of health stakeholders
globally. In Kenya, the situation is different. Locally,
Narinder Singh is among the few medics who have stepped into the
practice. However, since the therapy is not largely known to the
local population, Dr Singh has had to deal with fluctuating
patient numbers over the last 12 years of practice.
Cases dropped against malaria homeopaths
Officials have dropped charges against pharmacies alleged to
have advised people to take homeopathic remedies to protect them
against malaria instead of anti-malarial drugs.
Prasanta Banerji felicitated in Tripura
Noted Kolkata-based homeopath Prasanta Banerji was felicitated
by the Tripura Government Homoeopathic Doctors Association at
the TB Nibarani Samity Hall in Agartala on Monday. The Chief
Minister of Tripura, along with the Minister for Health and
other dignitaries, were also present at the felicitation.
Has Luc Montagnier Lost It?
I truly don't know what to make of this one. Virologist Luc
Montagnier has announced that he's heading off to Shanghai, to
found an institute and investigate. . .mysterious
electromagnetic signals from extremely diluted pathogens.
Understand the healing process from a Whole Systems Perspective
Homeopaths utilize practical guidelines to determine when a real
healing is taking place and when the disease process is getting
worse. These guidelines are called "Hering's law of cure," named
after the father of American homeopathy, Constantine Hering, MD
1800-1800, who first made these important observations about the
healing process.
