Then there's homeopathy. This is genuinely deceptive. The idea
behind homeopathy is quite simple. Homeopaths suggest that an
ailment can be treated with minute quantities of substances that
produce similar symptoms to those of the ailment. Quite how this
works is never explained although homeopaths no doubt want us to
think that it's a bit like vaccination where an inert form of a
dangerous infectious agent is given to the patient so he or she
can form a resistance to it.

Scorpion venom tones down cancer pain: study

After a 10-year-old study at a cost of about $20 million, Cuban
biotechnology researchers have developed a homeopathic medicine
from venom of scorpions that has pain relief and
anti-inflammatory properties. It has also been proved that the

According to the National Health Freedom's recent press release:
SB31, the North Carolina bill promoting criminal felony
violations for practicing medicine without a license, that would
jeopardize homeopaths, traditional naturopaths, herbalists and
many other complementary and alternative health care
practitioners, is still moving forward and awaits action on the
floor of the House of Representatives.
