I'm wondering if there is a good homeopathic remedy for the pain from
compression fractures of the lumbar vertebrae? My friend's mother is in
terrible pain from these and traditional pain medicine really isn't helping.

I suggest:

Symphytum - 200C or higher. Use it aqueous (made u in water and sucussed) and succuss several times between doses.
Calc phos 6X tissue salt will also speed healing.
Plus Arnica in general for the crushing effects.
Also add in Bach Impatiens for pain - one drop under the tongue as needed. This takes off the tip of the sine wave pain curve.
