It is possible that your sister suffers from Cellulitis and this is best
diagnosed by a physician. If this is the case she will have to be
treated with an antibiotic (usually Augmentin) especially if her ankles
are swollen as this will confirm my diagnosis.

Cellulitis is caused by a bacteria that affects the Cellulite layer
under the skin and are usually difficult to eradicate with Homeopathic
remedies as the bacteria do not seem to respond especially if there is
a lesion at skin level which is usual, which causes further infection
with the resultant swelling. After the bacteria are eliminated with the
antibiotic you can post her case here for further advice.

It is unfortunate that modern medicine does not have any prophylactic
against Cellulitis and the antibiotic used can only eliminate the
bacteria.

I have treated a few cases of Cellulitis in patients who in one instance
had been in and out of hospital on 3 occasions within the course of 18
months. It is now over 7 years since this patient was first treated by
me and she has not had a repeat of her infection and is absolutely well
at age 84.
